Insights Permissions: Can Edit

How to Rename Columns

  1. While editing a report, double click the column heading.
  2. In the field that appears, enter the new name.
  3. Press Enter to save the column name.
  4. Click Save to save your changes to the report.

To rename data labels in other chart types, first change the report to a table, rename the table columns, then change the chart type back.

To see the original names of metrics and attributes in a report, edit the report, select the Show Configuration link, then select More Report Info.

How to Rearrange Columns

To rearrange columns, drag the columns left and right. Note that attribute columns will always appear to the left of metric columns, i.e. you cannot move metrics farther left than attributes.

Rearranging attribute columns changes how the data is broken down. For example, let’s say you have a report containing the metric Hours Actual and the attributes Project: Name and User: Name. You can arrange the attribute columns to break down the data by project then user, or by user then project.

How to Resize Columns

To resize a table column, hover over the right border of the column header, then drag the border left or right.

Tip: To resize all columns at once, press Shift while resizing a column.

To automatically size a column to its contents, hover over the right border of the column header, then double click the border.

How to Delete Columns

To quickly remove a table column, drag the column out of the table until a recycle icon appears.
