We’ve heard lots of feedback from our Premier customers asking for more flexibility around our Team Lead feature. Now you can add the Team Lead moniker to any project participant. Existing Team Leads have retained this title, as well as their administrator privileges. This change makes it possible for Team Leads to be anyone in the project, not just project admins.
How does this change impact invoicing?
If the client Team Lead has financial permissions in the project, the invoice is addressed to them, just like before. If the client Team Lead doesn’t have sufficient permissions to be an invoice recipient, the invoice is not addressed to a specific person, but still posts in the project. In the case of multi-project invoicing, you still have the option to pick an invoice recipient. An invoice recipient for a multi-project invoice needs to have financial permissions in all invoiced projects.
