Insights Settings - Dashboards

Enterprise | Premier + Mavenlink Insights ]

Overview

The Dashboards tab of Insights Settings allows you to view all of your dashboards; Standard first, followed by Custom. At a glance, you’re able to see which Access Groups (i.e. sets of members) have access to each dashboard. You'll also be able to create new dashboards, see the last time data was loaded, and export a list of your current dashboards in Excel or CSV format.

The Dashboards tab consists of the primary toolbar followed by the dashboards table. Here are some toolbar highlights:

  • Export—Use this drop-down menu to export an Excel or CSV (comma-separated value) file that includes the Access Groups and Account Member associated with each Dashboard. You can export dashboard information to perform quick audits that allow you to see which members have access to which dashboards by way of each Access Group; this is useful if you have financial data that you want to ensure is only accessible to specified users.

Standard Dashboards

The Standard dashboards section allows the following actions:

  • Clone Standard Dashboard—Click the Clone Dashboard (“   ”) button to make a copy of the standard dashboard. Your duplicate dashboard will appear at the bottom of the Custom list for you to rename and/or assign member access.
  • Open Report—Clicking the Go To URL (“   ”) button opens the dashboard via its URL in a new browser tab.
Note: Account Administrators have access to all dashboards via URL, even if they can't see the dashboard in the left-side nav or don't belong to that dashboard's Access Group.

Custom Dashboards

The Custom dashboards section allows the following actions:

  • Delete Custom Dashboard—If you no longer need a custom dashboard, you can permanently delete it by clicking the Delete Dashboard (“   ”) button. Keep in mind that there is no undoing this action; once a dashboard has been deleted, it cannot be restored. Make sure you don't need this dashboard before deleting; you may want to consider removing a dashboard from all Access Groups first to verify it isn’t needed.
Note: Deleting a dashboard will not delete the Insights reports associated with the dashboard.
